After winning the Regional Tournament a week prior, Dylan Ingram battled in the Washington State Wrestling Tournament and came out victorious! Dylan bested Tahoma’s Dagen Kramer 7-4 and earned his gold medal in the 4A 220lbs division. The Camas wrestler also helped the school’s football team win the state finals earlier this year! His father, Jason Ingram, won a state championship in high school as well and could not be more proud! Dylan became CHS’ first wrestling state champion since Miguel Salamanca in 2011 and is the first champion under the Vom Baur era. Congrats to Dylan Ingram on a wonderful high school wrestling career!
Camas also had three other state placers being, Samuel Malychewski(4th), Rylan Thompson(7th), and Tanner Craig(8th). Congrats to these athletes and we’ll all have to keep an eye on these studs next year! What a perfect way to end this year’s season! #WeAreCamas #PapermakerPride
